Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using ResumePro ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. ResumePro is operated by Resume Pro, based in Canada.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity on your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You may not share your account or resell access.

3. Payments and Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges at the price and interval shown at checkout until you cancel. Prices, features and plan tiers may change; changes will not apply retroactively to your current billing period.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the current paid period. Refunds outside of any advertised satisfaction guarantee are considered case-by-case. To request a refund or cancellation help, email resumeprobiz@gmail.com.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

ResumePro uses AI to generate suggestions, bullet points, cover letters, resignation letters, interview questions, feedback and resume scores. AI output is provided as a drafting aid only. It may contain inaccuracies, generic phrasing or factual errors, and you are responsible for reviewing, editing and verifying any content before you use it in a real application.

Resume scores and ATS-compatibility feedback are automated educational estimates. They do not represent the scores or decisions used by any specific employer or applicant tracking system and do not guarantee interviews, offers or employment outcomes.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: submitting content you do not have the right to use; attempting to reverse engineer, scrape or overload the Service; using the Service to generate deceptive, unlawful or harmful content; or interfering with other users. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create using ResumePro. You grant us a limited license to store, process and display your content as needed to operate the Service. We do not sell your resume content.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce specific career results.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resume Pro and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data or opportunity, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province in which Resume Pro operates, without regard to conflict of law rules.
